About Darrin Rogers

A Certified Public Accountant (CPA), Darrin Rogers has over three decades of experience providing audit solutions to nonprofit organizations. To lay the foundation for his career, Darrin Rogers earned a bachelor's degree in accounting from Radford University. There, he served as the president of the Radford University Accounting Society from 1987 to 1988, and also competed in several collegiate business competitions, including winning 1st place in Virginia and 8th overall in the nation in Accounting. He would go on to pass all four parts of the Uniform CPA examination on his first and only sitting, an accomplishment achieved by less than 10% of all CPAs. He would then go on to attain the Certified Management Accountant (CMA) designation.

After several years in the accounting field, Darrin Rogers joined Price Waterhouse in 1991 where he became an Audit Manager, and focused his activities on serving prominent nonprofit clients in Washington, D.C. After five years in the position, he became an Audit Manager at Deloitte & Touche and, in 1997, he moved on to the position of Director of Audit Services at Grant Thornton, an international public accounting firm. Among his responsibilities, he managed the Washington, D.C. office's most complex and largest financial statement audits for nonprofit organizations.

Darrin Rogers founded Rogers & Company in 2001, where he serves as a Managing Partner today. He has helped expand staff and clients both locally in Washington, D.C., and around the globe at the public accounting firm. As a result of his efforts, Rogers & Company has been named a Top 50 Accounting Firm by the Washington Business Journal every year since 2006. Darrin Rogers continues to manage the firm's operations today, and Rogers & Company has become one of the premier CPA firms serving the audit, tax, and accounting needs of nonprofits throughout the industry.
